EAGAN COMMUNITY RESPONSE FUND

The Eagan Community Response Fund helps ensure our neighbors have access to support, stability, and trusted resources during times of uncertainty and need.

Through this fund, the Eagan Community Foundation provides flexible support to nonprofit organizations working on the front lines of community care. Grants may support legal education and “know your rights” training, emergency relief, and essential services that help individuals and families navigate challenging circumstances with dignity and confidence.

In the current moment, this includes responding to heightened fear and disruption caused by aggressive ICE surge that has deeply impacted immigrant communities right here in Eagan and across our state. While this fund responds to urgent needs created by these conditions, it also supports long-term community stability and wellbeing. By supporting trusted local nonprofits, the Community Response Fund allows resources to move quickly and responsibly where they are needed most — now and in the future.

Contributions to the Fund may support:

• Legal basics and “know your rights” education offered through trusted community partners

• Emergency assistance and short-term relief for individuals and families

• Rapid response grants to our trusted nonprofit partners responding to urgent community needs

• Programs that promote stability, safety, and access to essential services

Grantmaking is guided by community need and carried out in partnership with established nonprofit organizations and community groups.
