The Eagan Community Foundation is governed by enthusiastic and committed volunteer members of the Eagan community who are willing to share their skills and expertise. The Board meets monthly throughout the year and has many subcommittees to support all activities.

Colleen joined the Eagan Community Foundation Board in 2023 and brings more than 25 years of community foundation experience in operations, technology, and grants.
An Eagan resident since 2000, Colleen first connected with the Foundation when her son received an ECF scholarship in 2020. She has been active in the community through Easter Lutheran Church and Eagan youth and high school sports and joined the Board as a way to give back.
Outside of her community involvement, Colleen enjoys hot yoga, reading, traveling, and watching her son play professional baseball with the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks.

Jillian joined the board in 2021. She brings 25+ years of experience in the marketing and consumer behavior industry. Both of her children graduated from Eagan High School, and in her role as a consumer behavior consultant she has provided services for several Eagan businesses. When her children attended Eagan HS , she served on the Baseball and Band Booster Boards.
She can be found working out at the Eagan YMCA and taking long walks in Lebanon Hills Park.

Sarah serves the City of Eagan as Assistant City Administrator. She joined the Foundation board in 2025 to support their work to invest in Eagan's future. She loves the chance to connect with fellow board members and community leaders who strive to make Eagan an inclusive place where everyone can thrive.
Sarah likes to read, garden, and hike. Her favorite thing about Eagan is Wescott Library.

My husband, Tim, and I have two elementary-aged children. We enjoy year-round activities — hockey, cross country skiing, tennis, hiking and spending time in the many parks in our community, to name a few.

Martha joined the board in 2023, bringing organizational skills and a strong connection to Eagan High School, where she teaches math. She’s a member of St. Thomas Beckett Community and has two adult children. She enjoys biking, boating, and gardening. Some of her favorite things about Eagan are the bike trails, Food Truck Festival, and patio dining.

Mandi joined the Eagan Foundation board in October 2024. She brings an extensive background in Organizational Effectiveness and Talent Performance. She has lived in Eagan for over 20 years, was an active volunteer with Faithful Shepherd Catholic school, is on the board of the Friends of the Wescott Library and is a member of St John Neumann.
Mandi enjoys being a member at ONX, and in the summer enjoys sailing. Mandi’s favorite place in Eagan is walking the trails of Lebanon Hills with her family and dog Bentley.

Shikha joined the Eagan Community Foundation Board in 2026. A biomedical engineer and healthcare technology leader at Mayo Clinic, she holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Her career has spanned medical devices, healthcare innovation, product development, and program leadership, with a focus on bringing people and technology together to solve complex healthcare challenges.
Eagan is home for Shikha and her family, and she joined the Foundation to use her experience and perspective to give back to the community where she is raising her children. She especially values Eagan’s diversity—in its people, restaurants, and natural spaces.
Outside of work, Shikha enjoys traveling with her family, painting, cooking, writing, meditation, and exploring new ideas. She also loves teaching Indian cooking and creating meaningful experiences with the people she cares about.

Sara joined the Eagan Community Foundation Board in 2026. She works as a Proposal Manager for WebMD Health Services and previously spent many years in the cultural nonprofit sector, including work with the Minnesota Historical Society and supporting cultural heritage organizations across the state.
An Eagan resident since 2010, Sara raised her three children in the community and believes strongly in building meaningful connections to the place you call home. Outside of work, she enjoys Pilates, weightlifting, history podcasts, and cheering on her daughter’s softball team. Some of her favorite Eagan spots include Lebanon Hills, Cascade Bay, Wescott Library, and Barnes & Noble.

Debi is a self-employed management consultant following a long career in project and program management and leadership. Now semi-retired, she enjoys continuing to use her experience through independent consulting.
An Eagan resident for 12 years, Debi has built a life she loves in the community after relocating from a warmer climate. She joined the Eagan Community Foundation Board as an opportunity to become more involved and give back to the place she calls home.
Outside of work, Debi is an avid gardener who enjoys making the most of Minnesota’s warmer months. She also enjoys crafting, trying new creative projects, and playing bingo. Rather than choosing one favorite Eagan spot, Debi appreciates the variety of restaurants, entertainment, community gatherings, and events the city has to offer.

Lilly is a student at Eagan High School, where she brings a student perspective to the Foundation’s work. She is a leader in Interact Club and Women in STEM, participates in Spanish Club and marching band, and encourages fellow students to get involved in volunteering and philanthropy throughout the community.
A lifelong Eagan resident, Lilly joined the Foundation Board to learn more about her community and make a difference through service. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite Minnesota destination is Duluth, and you can often find her at Yogurt Beach or enjoying the sun at Schulze Beach.

Sarah joined the Eagan Community Foundation Board in 2023. She is a board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician with Emergency Care Consultants, where she cares for patients of all ages and backgrounds. She also brings experience in leadership, team coordination, wellness, and quality improvement.
Sarah grew up in Eagan and first connected with the Foundation when she received an ECF scholarship as an Eagan High School senior. After her mother, a dedicated Foundation board member, passed away in 2022, Sarah and her family established a scholarship in her memory. Sarah later joined the board to carry on her mother’s legacy and give back to the community that helped shape her.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys reading, spending time at her family’s cabin, concerts and musicals, and being outdoors. Some of her favorite Eagan places are Lebanon Hills, the Eagan Art House, and Wescott Library, where she’s a frequent visitor.

Lisé joined the board in 2025. She brings experience in marketing, strategic planning, and project management. Previously, she was the Public Information Officer/Director of Strategic Marketing and Communications at a local community and technical college. She is currently enjoying time away from the 9-to-5 world.
Lisé has been involved in the Eagan community for many years including previously serving on the Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and was also part of their Ambassador Program. She enjoys exploring the world, learning new languages, hiking local parks with her dog (especially at Lebanon Hills), playing pickleball, and spending time with her husband and three adult children. Kitchen & Rail and Houlihans are some of her favorite local restaurants.

Andrew joined our board in 2024, bringing a background in nonprofit administration and fundraising experience. He graduated from Eagan High School and returned to Eagan in 2023. His volunteer work includes the Rotary Club, being a board member of Alexandra House, and dog fostering with NorthStar Shih Tzu Rescue.
Andrew and his wife, Rev. Laura Hannah, have three children. He’s an avid board game enthusiast and his favorite place in Eagan is Kid to Kid.

Lai joined the Eagan Community Foundation Board in 2025 and has called Eagan home for more than 30 years. While raising her three children, her involvement in local athletic and school organizations gave her a deep appreciation for the Eagan community.
Born in Vietnam, Lai came to the United States after her family fled the aftermath of the Vietnam War and eventually resettled in Minnesota. Her experiences with hardship, education, travel, and reconnecting with family in Vietnam shaped her deep appreciation for opportunity, belonging, and community.
Lai has made service a central part of her life through volunteering, supporting local initiatives, and encouraging others to “not just count your blessings, but share them.”

Paula joined the board in 2023. She was a founding member of the District 196 Foundation board and is a 34-year resident of Eagan - she’s lived in all three Eagan zip codes! Paula raised her two daughters, Natalie and Linnea, in Eagan.
Some of her other community involvement includes serving as Church Vicechairperson at Crossroads Church and Deacon at Faith Covenant Church. She loves the amazing park system found in Eagan, especially Lebanon Hills and Thomas Lake parks. She also loves the Outlet mall, the shopping center by Hyvee, and family restaurants such as Ze’s and Juniors.

Darcy joined the Eagan Community Foundation Board in 2026. She is the founder and owner of Nonprofit Ops Pro, which provides back-office management and consulting to nonprofits and associations across the country. With more than 20 years of nonprofit experience, Darcy has served as a volunteer, staff member, executive director, and board member.
Darcy has lived in and around Eagan for nearly 27 years and has been involved in the community through the library, youth sports, and more. She joined the Foundation Board to contribute to the strong sense of community she values in Eagan.
Outside of work, Darcy enjoys mystery and nonfiction books, traveling, cake decorating, being frustrated by the New York Times crossword, and resisting the urge to adopt every animal at the shelter. She even went to law school for fun! Her favorite Eagan spot is Wescott Library.

Michael joined the Eagan Community Foundation Board in 2026. He works as a Training & Development Specialist for the Minnesota Judicial Branch after beginning his career as a middle school educator and administrator before transitioning to adult learning and development.
Relatively new to Eagan, Michael joined the Foundation as a way to give back, connect with his community, and help make it a better place for everyone. Outside of work, he enjoys bar trivia, trying new recipes, and anything baseball. His favorite Eagan spot is DUCK, the local video arcade.

Jamie Hopkins has served as Eagan Community Foundation’s Executive Director since 2016. She originally joined the Eagan Community Foundation as a board member in 2013 and has served on all the committees. Jamie has nonprofit management experience from earlier work in International Development. She first fell in love with the community foundation model while trying to help Ukrainian nonprofits develop local sources of funding. Jamie “married into Eagan” in 2010. If she’s not working for the Foundation, you might find her at Rahn Athletic Fields in Eagan playing some beach volleyball or caffeinating and meeting with excellent people at Dunn Bros.

Anna joined the Eagan Community Foundation Board in 2025. She is a Marketing Operations Specialist at Marvin with more than five years of experience improving processes, systems, and workflows. She also brings experience in training and helping teams adopt new tools and ways of working.
After moving to Eagan four years ago, Anna joined the Foundation as a way to connect more deeply with her community and give back in a meaningful way.
Outside of work, Anna enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling (or planning her next trip!), practicing yoga, painting, and taking long walks outdoors. Some of her favorite Eagan spots are Lebanon Hills and Curiouser Coffee.

Elyssa serves as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at The Toro Company, where she works on the development of embedded technology for golf course and construction rental equipment. A biomedical engineering graduate of Marquette University, she has also held leadership roles in mentorship, young professional, and women’s initiatives throughout her career.
Elyssa joined the Eagan Community Foundation to become more involved in the community she calls home and help create opportunities for others to connect, serve, and make an impact. She especially enjoys supporting the Foundation’s Young Professionals program and finding new ways for young professionals to build meaningful connections with the Eagan community.
Outside of work, Elyssa enjoys reading, yoga, running and walking, spending time outdoors, and exploring local coffee shops and bookstores with her husband, Tom.

Lauren joined the Eagan Community Foundation Board in 2025. She is a CPA and auditor with Ernst & Young, where she has worked since graduating from the University of St. Thomas and serves public and private companies across a variety of industries.
Having grown up in Eagan, Lauren first became familiar with the Foundation while in high school. She joined the Board for the opportunity to give back and support an organization that creates opportunities for people throughout the community.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys Orangetheory classes, golfing, and trying new coffee shops around the Twin Cities. One of her favorite Eagan spots is the walking path at Lebanon Hills.

Jackson joined the Eagan Community Foundation Board in 2025. He is a Senior Advocacy Specialist with Greater Twin Cities United Way, where he works in advocacy and government relations, including organizing Advocacy for Children Day at the Minnesota State Capitol. He graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2023 with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Communications.
Jackson moved to Eagan after college and quickly developed an appreciation for the community. He joined the Foundation as a Young Professional Board Member to make a positive local impact and support the Foundation’s work with grants, scholarships, and local nonprofits.
Outside of work, Jackson enjoys spending time with family, golfing, playing pickleball, walking, and relaxing near the water. One of his favorite Eagan spots is the Jensen Lake Trail at Lebanon Hills.
